Think Different... Think Bigger.

How often do you intentionally put yourself in situations that stretch your thinking

How often do you intentionally place yourself within a group of people who invite you to a deeper place of inspiration and wonder?

How often do you think about what more is possible for you?

If your answer is, "Ummm... I don't understand the question," that's totally okay. This is especially for YOU, in that case.

If you've ever walked out of a movie feeling a swell of good feelings, or left a concert with total elation, or finished dinner with your best friend and felt full of energy, then you've tapped into the experience of Unlimited Possibility and Creativity.

My goal for you (and myself) is to experience that feeling as much as possible because it cracks our hearts and minds wide open to possibility. What happens in that state of feeling an emotional "high" is part of what connects us to ourselves and our vision for life, work, and everything else.

Expansion requires a fundamental thing: Updating Your Thinking.

Let me give you some real examples from my practice.

Example #1:

One of my former clients is a professional coach and she works with a lot of therapists in her individual practice. There were times she worried about filling her roster and wondered where she'd find more therapist clients. Then she had an idea: What if she created a quarterly retreat specifically for therapists to get support, coaching, community, and rejuvenation? She created that retreat brand and it's been going on for a couple of years with incredible success. Her individual roster soared as a result.

Example #2:

Another client works in TV and film production as a cinematographer. He would often go through long spells without cinematography work until one day he had the idea to buy his own camera equipment and start his own equipment rental company. He did just that. He cashed out his retirement accounts (in his 30s) and invested in equipment, trucks, rigs, storage, etc. Not only did he create two revenue streams but whenever he's hired as a cinematographer, he gets to hire his second company for the supplies. In his first year he made back his original investment by 400%.

Example #3:

I supported a real estate agent who was having some frustrations looking for the best brokers for her clients. Eventually, she had the idea to also get her brokerage licence so she could do it herself. Low and behold, more clients wanted to work with her because she was able to offer an incredible added service.

Not only did each of these people create more sustainability and longevity in their business, they also created more money as a result. It came from their willingness to think differently. To think bigger.

There are literally countless ways you can expand and grow where you are.

I leave you with this:

Who is helping you expand your thinking?

Who do you feel most inspired by and alive with?

Where are you getting the seeds of creativity nurtured?

Incredible things happen when we intentionally allow ourselves to thinking different... to thinking bigger.
